Education, Training & Employment Project  -  Child and Family Services

The monies allocated to this new project will help us to develop new and creative opportunities for our young people in the area of education/training and employment. We will, in partnership with others, help to prepare looked after children who have left or are leaving public care, and to make the best use of existing and new opportunities in order that they can maximise their potential in the labour market.

The funding will enable us to increase the level of provision currently available. We will be able to provide:

• Access to advice, guidance and support services in relation to individual employment related need.

• Access to pre-vocational skills training.

• Assistance in accessing structured work experience placements.

• Assistance in achieving paid, unpaid or self-employment.

• Access to a range of educational courses and activities
